Everything you need to know about choosing a massage table

  1. Maintain the table periodically. Make sure all screws are secure and the cable has not deteriorated or frayed. Tighten the screws in the head piece as this gets a lot of use and may become loose over time. Check the wood for cracks.
  2. Do not overload the table beyond the recommended weight limit and make sure any weight is proportioned evenly over the table top.
  3. Do not use alcohol based cleaners or any products containing bleach when cleaning the vinyl. Use warm soapy water and wipe dry. Clean after very use unless you use a protective covering.
  4. Make sure your table is on a flat surface and that all four legs are at the same level (believe me; I've seen the opposite happen!!)
  5. Try to use a protective covering such as a terry towel cover or paper roll. They are quite cheap these days and will protect the table from oil stains, punctures and tears.
  6. Invest in a carry case to protect the table when not being used and during traveling.
