- Maintain the table periodically. Make sure all screws are secure and the cable has not deteriorated or frayed. Tighten the screws in the head piece as this gets a lot of use and may become loose over time. Check the wood for cracks.
- Do not overload the table beyond the recommended weight limit and make sure any weight is proportioned evenly over the table top.
- Do not use alcohol based cleaners or any products containing bleach when cleaning the vinyl. Use warm soapy water and wipe dry. Clean after very use unless you use a protective covering.
- Make sure your table is on a flat surface and that all four legs are at the same level (believe me; I've seen the opposite happen!!)
- Try to use a protective covering such as a terry towel cover or paper roll. They are quite cheap these days and will protect the table from oil stains, punctures and tears.
- Invest in a carry case to protect the table when not being used and during traveling.
